Roleplay | A roleplay is an interactive simulation where you can practice real-life conversations with an AI character. It’s like stepping into a real-world scenario so you can improve your communication skills in a safe, pressure-free environment. |
After you finish the conversation, you get personalized feedback to help you identify your strengths and areas to improve. | | Roleplay name | We suggest you name it as the situation happening so it’s easier for you to find it in the platform once you have created several roleplays. | | Persona name | The name you choose for the avatar. | | Your role | Who you are in the scenario in relation to the AI avatar. | | Persona’s background | Here you should provide any context about the persona that can influence how it will act during the roleplay. Try to be as specific as possible. We suggest you write about their role, level of experience, previous jobs, and specific skills they have that can influence the scenario. You can also add possible objections and challenges that the persona will raise during the conversation. | | Persona’s personality traits | How the avatar would be described by you. This can affect the persona’s behavior, attitudes and emotional responses. Is it more analytical or more emotional? Does it value numbers over anything else? Are details very important to it or is it more concerned with the big picture? | | Roleplay scenario | The context where the conversation takes place or any prior information that can affect your roleplay. You should try to answer these questions: “Where is the conversation taking place” and “What is the conversation about?. You should also explain what’s the goal of the conversation or the desired outcome: “Why is the conversation taking place?” and “What do we want to get out of it?”. | | Success criteria | What you need to say or do during the conversation so you achieve your goals and the roleplay is considered a success. Think of these as the rules of the roleplay. For it to be successful there are things that you can and can’t say.
The rules can be a proper order that you need to follow during the conversation; a methodology that you need to apply; a course of action that you need to agree upon, or something else. | | Public roleplays | Public roleplays are the ones visible to everyone on the platform. No matter their plan, everyone will be able to see and play the roleplay you create as public.
Our goal is to be the largest AI marketplace and make knowledge accessible to everyone who wishes to become a better communicator. That’s why we want people to create as many public roleplays as possible, so we keep increasing the number of available roleplays. | | Unlisted roleplays | Unlisted roleplays are the roleplays you create but choose to keep private so only you and the people you choose to share them with can play them.
You can use these to create custom roleplays for your team with sensitive information, specific processes, or methodologies that you don’t want others to be able to see and replicate. | | Duplicate check box (when creating the roleplay) | When you select this option, anyone (even if they are not under your account) will be able to duplicate your roleplay and see all the roleplay instructions you gave. That user can then use it as their own or change some of the information. | | Recommendations | Personeo’s recommendations are always based on the best practices, the conversation goals you defined and the success criteria. After the conversation ends, Personeo gives you a list of suggestions you can implement next time to get better results.
They work like a moderator in the “game” (= conversation). After the conversation ends, it will tell you if you broke the rules or haven’t followed them completely (= success criteria) and give you tips on how to play better next time. | | Stars | Personeo has a 3-star system that rates your skill level in handling the roleplay. The 3 stars are achieved after training with the same roleplay several times and improving based on the recommendations received.
To achieve the max level, you need to complete the conversation goals while following all the success criteria. In simpler terms, this means you need to win the game (conversation goal) and adhere to all the rules without breaking any (criteria for success).
Once you’ve reached the 3 stars you’ve mastered that roleplay and are ready to move to another one. | | Skills | Skills are the competences you practice through Personeo’s roleplays. | | History | Every time you play a roleplay, Personeo will save the history of it. That way you can check what you talked about on previous conversations with the same avatar and track your progress.
The History shows you the conversation, recommendations, number of starts you achieved and the date when you played it. | | Roleplay package | A package is a set of roleplays. Each package has to have at least two roleplays. You can only include roleplays that you created, never roleplays created by others. | | Progressable check box (when creating a package) | When you select this option, the user will have to follow the order you chose to organize the roleplays inside the package. This means that the user will have to achieve 3 stars on the first roleplay to unlock the second one and so on. Until the user completes the roleplay, the others will remain locked. | | Playlists | A playlist is a set of roleplays. However, unlike packages, you can add roleplays that were created by others. It can be a mix of roleplays you created, plus roleplays created by other members of the community. | | Sections | A section is a set of different roleplay packages. Think of sections as a book and the packages as chapters in the book. | | Coupons | The free coupons are codes that our partners can give to their clients so they can try out Personeo and unlock paid features - guaranteeing them the full Personeo experience. | | Redeemable count (coupons) | The number of users with whom you’ll share the coupon code. | | Credits (coupons) | The number of roleplays those users will be able to play to try out the platform. The redeemable count and the credits can be the same (example: 1 roleplay trial per user) or can be different (example: each user has 5 credits, meaning 1 user can play 5 roleplays). |
